Bread for today

Hilde\* Some time ago, I felt a strong impression that I should give something to a particular family. I often receive nudges like this and usually respond immediately—but this time, more time passed. About a week later, I was waiting at a red light when I saw the bakery to my left. Instantly, I thought of that family again and knew: Now is the moment to give.

I bought a generous bag filled with bread, rolls, and other delicious items, and asked if it could be delivered to the family that same day. They said yes! Another week went by, and then I heard that on that very day, the family had no bread and no other food left. All their money was gone. They hadn’t told anyone—only God knew. They had asked Him for bread, and God answered their prayer (anonymously) through me—right on time.
