The Language of Dance

There are many (art) forms that are used to glorify God and that God uses to speak to us. God knows you and speaks to you in ways that suit who you are. For me, dance is a way to express myself to Him: my gratitude and love, but also my desires and questions. He reveals Himself in it He is faithful, and He speaks through it.

A Universal Language

Dance is a language that doesn’t use words, yet it speaks and translates. This language is universal and accessible to everyone. At its core, dance is movement. Movement can become an extension of our expression to God. Where words fall short, movement translates the story behind language the stories of our hearts.

Using Our Temple

We are created for His glory and honor. Our body is a temple a holy place, meant for and devoted to Him. How beautiful it is when my whole temple lifts Him up, gives Him thanks, and offers Him the honor He deserves. And that it is also the place where He speaks to me.

In the video, I give a short explanation on how you can experience being with God through dance and movement.

I’m grateful that expression especially dance is now both my profession and way of life. God has made it possible for me to coach others and help them encounter and experience Him in this way.

Alongside the explanation, I also offer a challenge in the video. Want to join in? Then go ahead and watch now!
