On the way Back

On the return flight from a (surprise) trip to Valencia, I was reading in the book of Revelation, the part of the Bible I was studying at the time. While reading, I suddenly felt a very strong impression that I needed to give fifty euros to the woman seated just behind me on the right  so she could buy a new Bible.

I quietly prayed, “Father, is this impression from You? Do You truly want me to do this?” I felt such a deep confirmation inside that I asked my wife for my wallet. It felt quite difficult to step out because the woman was on the other side of the aisle and I sensed many people were watching. But I knew I had to do it, so I asked the woman, “Do you believe as well?” And yes   she believed in Jesus. I then handed her the fifty euros and told her she could use it to buy a new Bible.

At first, she hesitated to accept the money, but then she started crying. “How special,” she said, “because I’ve lost my Bible.” What a blessing that God wanted to use me to show her that she is seen by Him!
