You are going to mis the boat

Jolande: Our house needed to be sold. It had been on the market for some time, so we were very happy when someone finally showed interest. I got even more excited when I heard God’s voice say: “These people are going to buy your house.” They made an offer—but it was far too low. When we made a counteroffer, the buyers didn’t accept. We were back to square one. I felt unsettled… hadn’t God said they would buy it?

At that very moment, a friend called. He began: “Jolande, let me pray for your house.” “Our house?” I asked, surprised. “How special that you want to pray for our house right now, because we had almost sold it but at the last minute, the deal fell through.” “Jolande, you’re not going to miss the boat,” he responded. “You said ‘boat’?” I asked, even more puzzled. “The people who wanted to buy the house… their name is Boot!”

Our friend prayed for us and for our home. Through his prayer, I knew the Boot family would come back with a new offer and they did. They bought our house, just as God had said.
